History of Development The most important eveDt in the field of education in New Zealand will be the Seventh Regional Conference of tho New Education Fellowship, which is to take place shortly. The London Board of Education hae arranged to send Mr. G. T. Hankin, B.A., officiftlly to represent the board at the conference. Mr." Hankin will bring with him an exhibition, speeially arranged by tho Education Board for the conference and portraying "Progress in English Education." This will eonsist of about 200 pictures of work and play besides plans, photos ad timetables, arranged in a series of bays, each devoted to some speciai phase of education. The whole exhibition will occupy a large hall. Mr, Hankin will also bring a large eollection of films and gramophoUe recoi'dings designed to illustrate the practical application of mechanacal aids to education, On such subjects he is an expert, having leetured upon them in England.
