Hastings Sub-Association The weekly meeting of the Hastings Hackey Sub-Association waa held last night, Mr A, Hayes presidxng over Messrs A- Doree, D. Cousins, L- McDonald, T. Kelly, R. Treacher and S. Rou'se, Apologies for absence were receivfd from Messrs W. Parkhill, G. Hunt and A. Taylor. The important matter of encouraging hockey in schools was digcussed, and it was decided that donation of one gujnea ishould be made to theH igh School stiek fund. The possibility of a Nordon Cup game with Wanganui was digcussed, ynd preliminary' arraagomtnts were made. DRAW FOR THURSDAY Following is the draw for the third eeries in the Thursday hockey competition: — Senior Gold v. Pirates, No. 1, 1.30 p.m. White v. Waimarama, No. 1, 3 p.m. Karori v. Huia, No. 2, 3 p.m. Junior Blue v. Karori, No. 2,' 1.30 p.m. Pirates v. School, Sehool ground.
