AN ANZAC DAY ADDRESS CRITICISED.
Exception is taken by tke "New Zeaiand Metbodist Times' ' to a statement mada by tke Hon. Mr Justice Northcroft on Anzac Day that pflace and paeifism was no more. than a false view based on fear. An editorial article in the paper stjates: "If this were typical of other addresses we should regard it as occasion for serious regret. ' We venture vstrongly to join issue with his Honour, and to suggest that to stigmatise those who profess paeifism as guilty of cowardice and as basing their attitude on fear was hardly becoming of one occupying the distinguished position of a Supreme Court Judge."
