MAGNOLIA SATIN WORN BY NAPIER BRIDE

St Paul's Church, Napier, was decorated in autumn shades for the wedding on Saturday between Esther Ellen, younger daughter of Mr and Mrs J. B. Monteath, Kotemaori, and Stanley Ormond, second son of Mrs and the late Mr J. Nichol, Coote road; Napier. The Rev. H. Haigh officiated. The bride, who was 'escorted by her father, was - wearing a gown of parchment magnoli- satin falling to form atrain, the tulle veil to tone forming a second train. She earried a shower bouquet of mixed flowers in cream and pmk tints. The two bridesmaids, Miss C. Monteath (chief) and Miss D. Rossiter, were similarly frocked in Yalencia stift'ened net cocktail suits, the jackets having large pufl: sleeves and taffetas revers of brown, velvet flowers to tone being worn on their heads. hlr Nichol was attended by Mr M. Nichol as best man, and Mr T. Monteath as groomsman. At the conclusion of the service a reception was heid,' Mr and -Mrs Monteath. being assisted by Mrs Nichol in receiving the guests. The bride travelled in a black pinstriped costunle, with hat, shoes, oag and gloves .to tone, and earried a fiandsoin© fur stole, the gift of the bridegroom. ,JC.
