MARAENUI CLUB

A challenge match' for the Coronation Cup presented by Lady McLean was played during the week-end between tho Waipawa and Maraenui Golf Clubs, resulting in a win for Maraenui. Further challenges for the trqphy have been Teceived from the Waipukurau and Waimarama Golf Clubs, and a date for the game with Waipukurau will now be arranged. On Coronation Day the Maraenui Club is holding an open tournament of three events — the Coronation handicap medal, of 36 holes, the Maraenui Stableford in the morning, and the King's bogey in the afternoon.
