The Hastings and District Scets Society's reel class is holding its long night dance to-night. Proceeds are in aid of the Pipe Band funds. Members and friends are cordially invited to do honour to their Scottish Queen. Note : The society is in no way connected with the dance advertised for Wednesday, and hope that all members will support tlie official Coronation celebrations on that night. The Waipawa Bachelors' and Spinsters' Coronation Ball will be held in the Waipawa Municipal Tlieatre tomorrow at 8 p.m. Bridge will be provided for non-dancers. Radio listeners whose licenses expired on March 31 and whose installations have not been dismantled are liable to prosecution if a renewal is not effected imrnediately. John Lambie. golf professional to the Hastings Golf Club, will give an address illustrated with slow-motion films on May 17 at 8 p.m. in the Friendly Society Hall, Hastings. " Manchester Unity Oddfellows and candidates t'or initiation are reminded that tlie Hastings Lodge will meet at the Oddfellows' Hall, Max-ket street. to-morrow, at 7.30 p.m.
