Thousands Sleep Out In London REVIEW IN RAIN

(Eeceived 10, 10.30 a.m.) LONDON, May 9. Thousands of people slept out in order to see this morning 's final Coronation rehearsal. They had spent the evening seeing the decorations and finally went to the stands in the Mai! and camped on them for the night. By 5.30 a.m, to-day, every seat in the stands faeing Buekingham Palaee ftlong the Mall was occupied, while masses flocked down Constitution Hill, up Birdcage Walk and along Buekingham Palaee Eoad. In many places people stood eight to ten deep. Dawn Tevealed a cloudy sky and there soon came a drikzle, developing into real rain. Special tra^ps brought additional thousands to the scene. . Three cheers were given when mounted escorts TO.de down Constitutional Hill, these including representatives from the New Zealand and Australian contingents. They eseorted the eleven carriages which will carry the Dominion representatives to Wesfcninster Abbey, and were part of a quite imposing processxon whieh included the gold coaeh drawn by eight Windsor greys. A tall sergeant-major of the Guards constituted himself "O.C. Cheers, " and ^houted to the crowds ih the stands: "At the word of command, cheei." Then, when the gold coach was passing the crowd cheered, but not loud enough to satisfy the sergeant-cnajor, who shouted "Let's have it properly next time. ' ' The crowd cheered again, more loudly, and broke up immediately after the procession. Many were soaked to the skin.
