DOG RIBBON PARADE
Remarkable Display of Trophies in Hastings MANY NEW DOGS The Coronation Dog Eibbon PaTade arranged by the Hawke's Bay Kennel Association, held in Mr Apsey's pack-. ing shed, was well supported. It was pleasing to note the appearance of many uew dogs. The judges were Mr W. Howell (terriers and toys), Mr E. S. Berry (sporting breeds) and Mr J. A. Townsend (non-sporting). The trophies awarded were unique dn that such. a collection of banners has seldom boen allotted to any one function before in New Zoaland. These were all hand-painted with portraits of faraoue dogs.
