Saturday afternoon's play in Ijoth centres provided spectators with. some exciting matches, most notable of wihich was Ihe encounter at Hastings between Napier H.S.O.B. and Hastings, -which Hastings won by eight points to seyen. ihe game was evenly cont^ted, but Hastings deserved their win. M.B.O.B. gained a xunaway victory against Celtic by 21 points to five tat Hastings, whila at Napier Technieal O.B. beat Hastings H.S.O.B. by 24 points to six. Despite a sound defence, Hastings Old Boys were unable to stand up to the hard attacks of Technieal 's forwards".
