MATCHES IN NAPIER
Last Saturday's football in the Hawke's JBay: Rugby Union competitions resulted. practically as prediqted, and so various club supporters are still discussing which team will be f^vourite for the championship honours. The large attendance at McLiean Park,* Napier, has. not been disappointed this' season, and to-morrow will see a further series of matches played. C)n No. 1 ground Hastings H.S.O.B. will meet Technical O.B., and those who witnessed the last dispiay oi the Hastings ex-collegians in Napier will he - there again to-morrow. This team always plays attraetive football, and it is quite possible the team's open play will be a thorn in the side of Technical Old Boys. fOn No. 2 ground the Havelock team will be playing in Napier and hdve Pifates as opponents. Havelock has improv'ed with each match, and the strongest of teams will find them hard to beat. The relative strengths of these two teams will provide a good game. The Hawke's Bay representative team to travel to Wairarapa for Coronation'day will be selected after Saturday's games, and great interest is being aroused in the 1937 team in view of the apjnoapbmg Springbok inatch.
