Ladies' Guild Meets. The monthly meeting of the Porangahau Ladies' Guild was held in the sup-per-room pf the Porangahau Town Hall. Mrs Canning, the president, oecupied the chair. Twenty-five members were present, including soveral new members. After the business had been attended to the Eev. Mr Niblock delivered an address. fefoilstorin at Waipukurau. A heavy hailstorm occurred iu Waipukurau about 4 o'clock yesterday morning. A total of 23 points of rain was recorded in the 24 hours ended at 9 a.m. Minor Accident. A minor collision betwoen two cars, one driven* by Mr A. Annand and the other by Mr H. Edenj occurred In Farm road, .Waipukurau, early yesterday morning. Both vehicles suifered eliglit damage but no ono waa Itijured.
