Trailer Surprises By Beating Passion Flower PLADIE GOES WELL (By "The Barb.") The final gallops for the opening day of the Hawke's Bay Golden Jubilee Cup meeting were lexeeuted as follows, and where not specified the gallops took place on the plougi. • * # * . Anderson), on the inside grass, was eloeked to do her four furlpngs'in iSlsecs., but could have done better. » ' # - • Iddo (C Goldsboro) was restricted to a working gallop over six furlongs, taking Imin 20secs., while his stable conipanion, Parry (K. Brueur), went solidly o^-er seven furlongs, the dock showing lmin. 33secs. • * • . Lacquer (S. Anderson) and Seytried (B. Stowe) were companions in A seven furlong gallop in lmin. 32Jsecs. Forsyth) in their five furlong gallop in 64secs, Tupai went mdst impressively, as he was carrying the .best part of 10 stone. • - ♦. • Grey Molly (S. Anderson) was so match for Hamarin (H. Callinan) over three-quarters of a mile in 1.18Jsecs. The latter. who was half-ardozen lengths in fronti at the winning posj, could have done better. . • # f . Mohua (H. Callinan) and Helios (P. Atkins) were together after iraversing five furlongs in 64secs., but both appear to be giving of their best, - * * . • The latest arrivals, Catalogue and The Crooner, wero out doing light work only.
