DENTAL CLINIC
Much Work in Hand The Hastings Dental Clinic Committee is this year acting on Government instruetions entirely, and as a fesuit at will be necessary for parents to pay the * fees for their children through their variducs schools, and not through the depots as formerly. A list of the children eligible for treatment at the clinic has been sent to each sehool, and parents are requested to make the necessary payments as soon as possible. Owing to the infantile paralysis epidemic, the nurses are somewhat behind in their revision treatments of last year, and new entrants to the clinic are not able to be treated for a few months, but they will be taken in later in the year. However, any child who -may eufter from toothache at any time will be attended to at once. The nurses will as usnal make the necessary appointments for the children and parents are asked to 'co-operate with, them by seeing that their children keep' these , appointments in good time, and by so doing the work at the clinic will be qnickly brought up to date. The Clinic Committee is endeavouring to arrange for extra nurses at the clinic, and if successful, new^ entrants will be able to be treated ea'rlier.
