REDUCED FREIGHTS
Australian Producers To Beiiefit (Received 6, 12 noon) SYDNEY, May 6. The acting-Prime Minister, Dr, Earle Page, ailnouneed that shipping freights on a number of Australian exports to the United Kingdom will be reduced, with a consequent saving to primary producers of £500,000 annually for three years. Dr. Page said he hoped to give further details within the next few days.
