Income and Customs Receipts
EUGBY, May 4. The buoyant revenue xs again a feature of the Exchequer returns, which show that the total ordinary revenue amouuts to £60,199,129, compared with £53,009,314 at the corresponding date of last year. The yield of income tax at £10,894,000 is £1,802,000 hxgher than for the same period last financial year and Customs at £20,152,000 brought in £3,000,000 more. The total ordinary expenditure is £81,308,855, compared with £84,870,080 1 at the corresponding date in 1936.
