Semi-Final Stage Now Reached YESTERDAY 'S RESULTS The Hawke 's Bay ladies ' golf championship is now teaching its final stage At the Waiohiki golf links. The semifinals wero played tMs morning and the finals this afternoon. The followIng players survived the second round pesterday Mesdames Ellison, Tareha and Hope Miller, and Miss Wilson. Yesterday's results in the various eompetitions were as foUow: — CHAMPJONSHIP Second Eonnd Mrs Ellison heat Miss Dunean, at the 19th. Mrs Hope Miller beat Mtb Hunter, 3 and 2. Mra Tareha beat Miss Ormond, at the 20th. Miss Wilson beat Mrs Young, 4 and 3, WAIOHIKI HANDICAP % Sefeond Round Mrs Troutbeek beat Mrs O'Hara Smith, 4 and 3. Miss Weber beat Miss Clark, 3 and 2. Mrs Russell Grace beat Miss Lee, 2 and 1. Miss Lopdell beat Mrs Meikle, 5 and 3. NAPIER HANDICAP Second Eound Miss Z. Fryer beat Mrs Fryer, 4 and JL Mrs Amyes beat Miss Macalister, 6 and 5.
