Rei'erence to tlie recent death of Mr R. C. Wright, of Napier, was made by the Mayor, Mr G. O. Morse, at last night' s meeting of the Napier Borough Council. On his suggestion, the council decided to forward a letter of condolence to Mrs Wright and her family. "For a large number of years the late Mr Wright served Napier as a eouncillor, and 1 think you all know of his sterling qualities and of the good work lie lias done for this town,'' said Mr Morse.
