Pope Upset by Hitler's Attack on Church (Received 4, 8.45 a.m-) LONDON, May 3. The" Daily Telegraph's Berlin correspondent eays Herr Hitler's May Day speech in the Lustgarten was heard by a most unenthusiastio crowd. The Fuhrer's speech dealt with the results of his four year's dictatorship and the deprivation of their political freedom could be plainly read in their apathetic faces. Meanwhile the anti-Christian prejudices inculcated in the German youth are causing outbreakg of sacrilege througihout the Catholic portion of Germany. The Daily Telegraph's correspondent at Vatican City says Herr Hitler's attack on the churches has made a painful impression as the officials had been led to believe Hitler desired a friendly settlement.
