Napier Borough to Give £250 Aimually The Hawke's Bay Art Society is to benefit by an annual donation of £250 from the Napier Borough Couticil. A decision to this efiect was reached by the council last night, acting on the advice of their finance Committee. The donation will start as from April 1 of this year. ' The Mayor, Mr O. O. Morse, stated publicly at the official opening of the itew wing of the Art Galiery and Museum in Napier last week that he deeply appreciated the fact that. the Art Society had taken a load off the shoulders of the council in providing the town and district with an art galiery and mnseum.
