OMARUNUI CLUB
Closing day on the Omarunui green was a great success on Saturday. There Were nine visiting rinks present — Napier, Wairere, Port, Bluff Hill, Kia Toa, Hastings, Waipawa, National Service and Heretaunga. At the after•cocn tea adjourninent, Mr T. B. McDonald (president) welcomed the visitors, who one and all expressed their pleasure at being present. Results:--Napier: Pirie, Bear, Bryan, Bendall 30; Omarunui: Cawston, Langley, Jarvis, Oliver 18. Waipawa: Holt, Kingston, Petherick, Walker 20; • Omarunui: Blair, Kitson, It. Brown, Wilkinson 16. Omarunui: J. Wilson, Wiseman, Simpkin, Ellis 22; Heretaunga: Dunn, Hickmott, Moore, Preston Thomas 13. Wairere: Findlay, Lee, Sinclair, Dadson 26; Omarunui: Anderson, Gallagher, Smyrk, McDonald 11. Omarunui: Williamson, Fayen, W. Brown, Belclicr 16; National Service: Wilmer, MeKaj', White, Elder 14. Port: Watters, Cuff, Earney, Danvers 28; Hastings: Wilson, Christie, Bennett, Tonkin 22. Bluff Hill: Dunn, Rowan, Dunsford, Newton 21; Kia Toa: Chadwick, Nieol, Mcrritt, Hill 20.
