Accident to a Car

In the Magistrate 's Court'. yesterday, Kotua Hira, dairy farmer at 'Te Eakautatuhia, on a chargo of allowing a bull lo wander on a public road was fiucd 10/- and 10/- costs, and on a-similar cliarge of allowing 12 cows to wander, £3 and 10/- costs. The defence was tb'at some'one had opeiied the gate of the padddck and the cattle- had straved on to the main, road, Constable Mullins, Takapau, said that as the result of the stock being on the road an accident with a car had occurred and the occupants ittjured. one woman subsequently having to go to hospital.
