While three single-seater Air Force fighters were flying in forination over Hampsbire, tbe machine sligbtly above tbe others suddenly nose-dived, coiliding with the other s All the planes were shattered ,and the debris spread over balf a mile. Two of the pilots escaped by means of paracbutes, th© tbird being trapped in th© cockpit and killed. The Air Forc© death-roll for 1937 is now 41.
