(Received 1, 8.45 a.m.) LODDON, April 30. fn the MouSe of Commdns, replying to Mr H. Dalton fs questxon concerning attention to General Mola's declaration that he intended fo raze Bilbao, Mr Anthony Eden announced that the British Ambassador had been dnstructed to feport nrgently whether there was any fonndation for believing that the insttrgents cdntemplated such action. Mr Eden repeated that concern was felt Over the bombing of civilians, and added that the Government was anxiously considering action to prevent its recnrrence, and nrgently" examiping methods of eo-5peration With other Governments. He hoped a statement would shorfly be made. Sir A. M. Silielair, Liberal leader, drew attention to the reports of fhe destruction of another town and the machine-gnnning of the fugitiyes, and asked the effect of these aets on the non-intervention agreement, Mr E3en said he had given a ea ro-i'ttlly-considered reply. The Government must be allowed a Iittle time to decide tho method of approaching the problom.
