Lamb Prices Advance .

WAIROA, Last JNight. There was a fair yarding of sheep and a small yarding of cattle at yesterday's sale at the Northi Clyde Saleyards. Lambs were in keen demand and prices advanced on previous saies. Details of prices realised are as follow : — 100 ewes r.w.S.d. ram 18/-, 134 at 17/3, 39 empty ewes 12/4, 61 ewes 16/10, 48 at 19/-, 35 at 14/6, 23 at 18/-, 17 at 19/-, 4 at 21/2, 36 at 13/3. 4 wethers 20/1, 14 at 13/7, 7 at 19/6, 7 at 19/10, 42 fat wethers 25/9, 10 S.D. lambs 14/9, 8 at 16/1, 14 ewe lambs 12/9, 10 at 13/3, 52 at 19/-, 14 ewe lambs 16/7, 147 wether lambs 17/-, 73 at 16/2, 37 at 16/11, 23 at 11/9, 43 ewe lamhs 17/1, 41 at 18/1, 33 at 18/9, 82 at 19/-, 16/9, 45 at 14/6, 49 at 14/9, 49 at 15/11, 45 at 13/1, 35 ewe lambs 20/11, 129 at 13/-, 59 at 16/4, 47 at 15/2, 8 at 22/1. 3 P.A. lj-year steers £4 15/-, 6 fat cows £7 5/-, 1 Hereford cow £3 17/6, 1 fat cow £4, 3 fat Jersey cows £4 12/-, 4 P.A. cows £5 13/-, 11 fat cows £6 15/-, 9 m.s. weaners £3 2/-.
