Skins Adyance: Hides Weaken The Hawke's Bay Woolbrokers' Assoeiation report having held the usual monthly oddment sale on April 28, when they offered a full quantity of skins to a somewhat sinaller bench of buyers than usual. Bidding for all skins was keen and they report an advattce on last sale prices of from l}d to 2|d per lb. Hides met a weakening market and were hard to quit at prices even comparing with last sale. Many lines were passed in. Sundries sold at the same level as before.
