Anzac Day at' Tikokino. A good number of Waipawa returned soidiers came as usual to the usual gathenng at the War Memorial, Tikokino, lield in meihory of the brave moa who so gallantly died in defenco of our Empite, but there Was not so many of our local teturned men as usUal, dae to various causes. The Itev. H. Drake, vicar of Waipawa, ofiiciated aud gave a forcible address. Mrs Drake, as Usual, very kindly presided at the portable organ, brought out for the oecasion. The serviee concluded by all singiug the National Authem. All of the returned men were then entertained at afternoon toa, which was provided by some of the local ladies. The wreatks placed at the Memorial during the serviee were very pretty, though fewer than usual, owing' to tlio severity of the frosts which came oarlier thap usual this year-
