Erom the statistics supplied by Mr. Evans it would appear quite definitely that the rainfall for the borough has a direct influence on. the consumption of water, for the past year was a very dry one in comparision with the previous 12 months, the total rainfall for the periods being 22.92 incb.es last year and 54.97 the year before..
