PROTEST REJECTED
Britain Replies to Rebel Leader LONDON, April 29* The Morning Post says that the British Government has rejected General Franco's protest against the Huod's and Fire Drake 's action in protecting the MacGregor, Hamsterley and Stnnbrook while proceeding to Biibao, niainiaining that the waiships' operatioua occurred outside the three-mile lin.it and were, therefore, quite legitimate. They refuse to recognise General Franco's claim that Spanish territorial waters extend six miles from the coast. There will, therefore, be no change in British policy in rOlation to the block- > ade.
