Early Morning Fire

CHRISTCHURCH, This Day. Barley stocks housed in a detached grain storo on the premises of the Canterbury Seed Co., Ltd., at Heathcote were damaged by fire in the early hours of this morning. The fire was confined to the store and no damage was done to an adjoining malt house, kiln or other buildings. The store and stock affected by the fire were insured with the Queensland Insurance Oo., Ltd., for £45^000- There would be no cessation in the corapany's working, orders being delivered to customers as usual.
