jrene dunn IN comedy "Theodora Goes Wild," starring Irene Dunne in her first major role as a comedienne, wili be the next attractiou at the Regent Theatre. The iilm begins on Saturday. For the first time in the career studded with such dramatic gems as "Cimarron," "Bhdk Street," "Magnificent Obsession" and "Show Boat," Miss Dunne turng to the gay, Jight side of life, with gratifymg results. In "Theodora Goes Wild," Miss Dunne is seen as p, small town "nobody" who becomes famous as the author of sophisticated novels. Whien she falls in love with Douglas, whbse estranged wife refuses to give hina a divorce, she takes a page from her own Uovel aud launches a campaign of Wild escapades to gain her objective.
