Wages Fixed at 2/9

WELLINGTON, Last Night. Tairly close agreement was reached in the Dominion bricklayers' disputo to-day when wages of 2s 9d an hour were agreed on to operate from May 17, all other provisions operating from the date of the award. Ordinary overtime was xed at time and a-half, with double timo for work done among boil ers, ovens, etc., and timo and a-half for certain kinds of dangerous and uncomfortable work. Clauses relating to trovelling time for suburban and country work were referred to the Court.
