Tribute to Hastings Cricketers "There is no doubt that since the combined Hastings-Napier senior competition was started again, cricket has improved coneiderably and has certainly been more enjoyable," said Mr. G. H. Brown, of Napier, when proposing a toast to the Hastings Cricket SubAssoeiation at n presentation function in Napier last evening. "The game has been enjoyable more especially because the Hastings players are known throughout the district as very good sports." "I can assure you that the Hastings players fully appreeiate the amalgamation," replied Mr. A. Mahoney, of Hastings. ' ' They enjoy coming to Napier and look fovward to the visits from the Napier teams."
