Provincial Meeting at Waipukurau Mr C.VR. Edascombe presided over a meeting of the Hawke's.Bay provincial executive of tlie Hawke's Bay Farmers' . Union held at Waipukurau yesterday afternoon. Several letters were reeeived in reply to those sent out by ' the execntive, asking various hodies interested if they would attend a conference- to discusi. ways and means of avoiding the offering of inferior rams at ram fairs. . The Southdown Sheep Society advised that the matter wotild be brought before their next meeting. The Romney Marsh Sheep Breeders' Association advised that Mr J. W. Harding, Waipukurau, who is a memb.er of the council, liad agreed to represent the* as'sbciation at any meeting convened for this purpose by the Farmers' Union, and had suggiested that the occasion of tl\e Palmerston North Winter Show would* he a good time to call such a meeting, as there was usually a large number of representative breecUers present.
