WRESTLING
friday's Hastings Contest Having made an excellent start, the professional wrestling seaBon in Hastings will be advanced furtSter next Friday night with a bout between Don Mclntyre, who did sp much to arotise enfhusiasm in. his bout with Blomfield, and Hal Rumberg, a stalwart wrestler from Spokane, Washingtou, Whom New Zealanders remember as the big success of the 1933 season in this cbnatfy. Though Mclntyre proved to be a man of remarkable physical proportions, Rumberg is even bigger, though his excellently proportdoned frame does not carry an oimce Oi suporfiuous weight. He is -6ft. 24in. in height and weighs about 16st. 101b., tapering aWay from broad and powerful ehoulders. Since Rumberg had been away from New Zealand he has made considerable progress in the game and has moved right^ up among the top-notehers. He has beaten men like Ali Baba and Dick Hhdkat, former holders of the world title, as well as Niek Lutze, Yincent Lopez, and many other prominent wrestlers. The Oox plan is at Hall's bookshop. phone 4061.
