USING UP SALES BARGAINS
To help readers to make up dress lengths our fashion artist has sketched a few suggestions. For the older woman she has designed three styles, on the left. First shows a coat frock, in black wool georgette worn with a white vest, with high collar. The frock is simple in its lines with sleeves which are full at the forearm, gathering into a cuff. A charming frock in the new American crepe shows coin spots in a contrasting colour. The frock is made on Princess lines, with an unustial swathed neckline, and has extended shoulders. The next frock is of alpaca, in tunic styles, with the princess waistline, and featuring epaulet shoulders. Next .comes a light- weight wool for a younger woman, with short puff sleeves, Peter Pan colar, and natty buttons all the way down the front. Number five is also for the younger generation, and could be made of taffeta, which lends itself very well ' to the basque which is the outstanding feature of this design, A fresh-looking little vest, with Peter Pan collar, and short puff sleeves, are in keeping with the rest of the frock. The evening frock is made of floral moire taffeta and grace of line is given to it by the full little bustle and slight train. The little people are also thought of, and the frock sketched here'is stUl along princess lines, showing two box pleats in the front, puff sleeves and a Peter Pan collar.
