' Miss Margaret Matheson, Wellington, is the guest of Mr and Mrs M. R. G. Matheson, St. Anbyn street, Hastings. Mrs H. Lovell-Smith, Clive road, Hastings, is spendang a fortnight in Christchurch and is staying with her mother. Miss L. Bridge, Waipawa, is the guest of Mrs Romaine Wright, Roberts street, Hastings. Mrs Preston, who has been staying wdth Telatives at Pakowhai, has returned to Wellington. Mrs W. Kenderdine and Mrs Percy Kenderdine, Auckland, who are on a motor tour, are at present staying in Hastings. Mrs Hayes, Fiji, is the guest of Miss Aurelia Hobson, Hatuma. Mrs Alex Aitken has leased her house at Havelock North and sails eariy next month for a trip to England. Mrs H. J. Grieve, with her two daughters, the Misses Lorna and Jocelyn, left for Auckland by car on Monday. Miss Jocelyn Grieve will commence her duties as a nurse in the Auckland Hospital. Mrs T. C. Sanderson, Napier, who has been visiting her sisters, the Misses Heywood, Cashel street, Christchurch, hasv returned home.
