Inexperience of Committee

NEW PLYMOUTH, Last Night. "Practically noho of the members of the special education committee of the Government Party had knowledge of education administration,'' said Mr S. G. Smith, M.P., former Minister of Education, at the High Schools Board meeting to-night. He was apprehensive of the education ref orm proposalS which the Government would bring into law by sheer force of numbers. Mr Bmith suggested that men with edncation experience should be added to the committee. He mentioned the names of Mr R. A. Wright, M.P., and Mr H. Atmore, M.P. The board decided to make reprosentations to the Minister.
