Thirty-One Charges Dismissed OFFENCES NOT PROVED (Received 27, 1 p.m.) LONDON, April 26. At the Wresham inquiry the Magistrates dismissed 31 summonses which alleged disregard of safety regulations by shop-firers at the Gresford colliery, holding that the evidence did not provc the accused 'guilty of non-compliance of the law at the time of the accident. Ten summonses remain against the colliery company, which relate to alleged neglect in not providing proper ventilation, failure to report the true condition of the airways and workings, and failure to keep records. . % As the result of an explosioD which occurred shortly before 3 a.m. on September 22, 1934, in the Gresford Colilery, near Wrexham, Wales, 265 miners lost their lives. The mine belongs to the United Westxninster and Wrexham Collieries, Limited.
