Spanish Rebels Issue Warning ACTIVITIES AT BILBAO

(Received 27, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, April 26. The rebel leader in command of the Seville garrison, General de Llano, in a broadcast from Seville, threatened that insurgent warships may fire on British warships if they persist in protecting shipping entering Bilbao. General de Llano also announced that the rebel cruiser Canarias had forced the loyalist cruiser Jamde Primero aground on the south coast. A comnlunique issued in Valencia states that an Italian destroyer stopped a British oil tanker off Barcelona. Spanish Government aeroplanes flew out, at which the destroyer withdrew. Later, however, it agadn stopped the tanker, but withdrew a second time when the planes reappeared. The tanker then proeeeded to Barcelona.
