"Two-Up" Prosecution.

Another prosecution resulting from ihe police raid on a "two-up" school near the Awapuni racecourse during the recent trptting meeting was enade in the Magistrate's Court at Palmerston North yesterday, when Eeginald Ernest Frederick Miles, a dealer, aged 29, of Palmerston North, was charged with playing "two-up" at Maxwell 's line on April 17. Miles pleaded guilty. When arrested, said Detective - Sergeant Meiklejohn, defendant had £263 in his possession. A fine of £2 was imposed.
