CHRISTENING PARTY IN NAPIER ON SUNDAY

Eelatives and friends were invited by Mr and Mrs H. H. Wylie to thexr home in Shakespeare road., Napier, on Sunday af ternooh for the chrxstening of their baby daughter. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. D. N. 'MacDiannid and Mr and Mrs A. E. Lawry were the god-parents. Ihe nanxes chosen for- the baby were 'Janet Mary. The drawjing-room was beautifully decorated with large bowls of gold and bronze chrysanthemums and autumn foliage and here the guests were eutertaiined to a delieious buffet afternoon tea. •The little guest of honour received Aiany gifts • whieh were admired by overyone.
