Tangoio Meeting The April meeting of the Tangoxo Women 's institule was held at Mrs Osborne 's home, Mrs Lowo presiding over a fair attendauce of membexs. After the einging of the Institute Ode, . the nxotto for the month was read and was ' ' If you don't know how to kill tixixe, work it to death. ' ' The resolutwoua i'or the auxiual Federatiou meeting were discussed, and Mrs Collins was appointed delegato in place of Mjs Orr, who is unable to attend, The roll'call was "A pleasant phrase I like to hear.'' The competitions resulted: Best red beet, Mrs E. McDonald 1, Mrs Osborne and Mrs Collins (equal) 2; pine-needle basket, Mrs Hanna 1. Mrs Osborne gave a most interesting talk on "Pioneering days in Tangoio," and was accorded a very hearty vote of tlxanks. After supper had been served, Mrs Osborne was thanked for her hospitality and the meeting elosed with the singing of the National Anthem.
