The I church had been prettily decorated by I I friends of the bride with pink and white nerines and gladioli. The bride, who was escorted by her J father, wore a lovely gown of white duchesse satin, with the elose-litting skirt flaring gracefully into a soft train. Her veil of .tniie fell from a coronet of orange blossom to form an over-train. A shower bouquet of white dowere was carried. The bnide was attended by her sister | PriseilJa, who wore a charming frock of shell pink georgette. Silver shods were worn and her bouquet of pink and J cream flowers was tied with silver ribbons. Little Barbara Taylor made a J pretty flower girl in her Empire gown i of rose silk velvet, with a pink Vxctorian posy. Both nxaids wore head banda of pink flowers. j Mr C. After the ceremony a reception was I lield at ' ' Elmshill, ' > the honie of the I bride 's parents, whieh was charmingly decorated with autuxxixx leaves and ilowers.
