Additional Commissions to be Appointed

INVEEOAEGILL, Last Night. An iudication that in order to expedite the work of the Mortgage Adjustment Commissions where congestion was experienced it was the intention of the Government to appoint additional commissions was given by the Minister of Lands, Hon. F. Langstone, at Otau-. tau to-day. The Minister said it was ioped to deal expeditiously with all applications for adjustment under the Mortgagors and Lessees EeMbilitation Aet, but Cabinet had approved of the appOintment of additional commissioiis where they were required and the gazetting of the appointments could be expected at any time. The Government was particulaTly anxious that a final adjustment satisfaotory to parties should be made without delay,
