JJOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at a meeting of tke above-mentioned Board, to be kolden in the. office of tke Board in Market Street, Hastings, on WEDNESDAY, July 7 th, 1937, at tke kour of 2 p.m., it is tke intention of tbq Board to make and levy General Rates under tke provisions of "Tke Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928" (Sections 65 and 66) and "Tke Rating Act, 1925" (Sections 51 to 59) on tke basis of tke numker of kead of stoek as follows: (1) A skeep rate of one-tentk part of one penny per skeep or laoib depasturing in tke Hawke's Bay Rabbit District on 30th November, 19.36; (2) A cattle rate of five-tenths part of one penny per kead of cattle of all ages, depasturing in tke Hawke's Bay Rabbit District on 30 th November, 1936; SUBJECT TO a minimum total rate in accordanee witk Sections 65, subSeetion (2), of "Tke Rabbit Nuisance Act, 1928" of iive shillings in tke case of any xatepayer wko kas furnisked a stock Teturn and of ten shillings in tke case of Any xatepayer wko kas failed, on demaild, to furnisk a return and on wkom a default assessment kas been made in accordance witk Section 41, sub-section (5) of "Tke Rabbit Nnis-t ance Act, 1928."
