Dutiful Revelled in Soft Going at Moorefield

SYDNEY, April 25. - The New Zealand horse, Dutiful, revelled in the soft going at Moorefield yesterday and won the Maiden Plate in hollow f ashion. The Philamor filly, Philight, hsw»jng her first race, finished sixth in the Juvenjle Handicap for fillies. Late Night was second in the Juvenile Hanoxcap for colts and geldings. Results:— MAIDEN PLATE. DUTIFUL, 8.5 (Bartle) 1 Old Eowley, 8.5 (Hickey) ....... 2 Brass, 8.8 (Trenear) 3 Eleven started. Won by four lengths; three lengths. Time, 1.46. MOOREFIELD HANDICAP. GRAND WARBLER, 7.3 (Lappan) 1 Linklet, 7.5 (Glover) ........ 2 Silver Coat, 6.11 (Britt) .. .. .. 3 Eight started. Won by a neck; one ftnd a-half lengths. Time, 2.10. Housemaster was unplaced in the FlyWelter,. second division.
