Beef Market Very Firm ALL SECTIONS AT LATE RATES Yaluee in an seetions at the Frilding stock sale yesterday were fnlly «p to late rates with evidence of a fitming tendency particularly with regard to beef. There was a very large offering Oi fat cottle inclnding a big percentage of ez dairy sorts of very good quality and with the export feuyers operating values hardened somewhai. Boner cows again made1 up a large proportion o£ the store cattle entry and these met with spirited eompetition with overseas buyers operating freely. There appears to be a strong demand for this class of stock and good prices are offering. A few station cattle were yarded and these conun^dod prices well up to late quotations. Breeding ewes running witk rams again exeited keen interest and sold well. A few pens of indifferent quality as weH as some with reserves a bit on the high side Were passed in but otherwise the sale was good and values firm. The demand for lambs was keen and values for the better sorts experieneed a rise, Fat sheep again met with a good eom* petition aud here again prices trmed somewhat with a total clearanoe under the hammer.
