Some conceptoh of the work involved in one particular phase of the scheme was given by Mr I. L. Elliott, B.Sc., Ag., of the Department of Agriculture, who is in charge of the Farm Management Survey, while Mr I. J. Pohlen, M.Ss., of the Soil Survey branch of the Department of Scientific aiid Industrial Research dealt with a general outline of the whole scheme and some of the results that have already been obtained.
