STAN LAUREL'S PLANS
Stan Laurel has broken with Hal Eoach, his producer, after two y®p,rs of disagreement over the amount of authority which Laurel should have ip production. * Laurel said some time ago that he was planning a firm of his own, probably to produce in England. ' Now he has registered a £10,000 company called Stan Laurel Productions. ' Haxdy, his, screen partper, is ti.ed for two more years to Boach, who -will hold him to his contraet. Unless Laurel reconsiders his decision and signs with Roach, the famous comedy team will split.
