VALEDICTORY
Mr J. Clark, a member of the subeditorial staff of the Herald-Tribune, leaves during tho weelc-end for Palmerston North where he hasv aeeepted a position on the staff of the Manawatu Evening Standard. Mr Clark was met by his fellow-workers of H.B. Newspapers' Ltd. this afternoon and madd the recipient of a presentation as & small token of the esteem in which he is held. Tho Managing Editor, Mr W.
